@stevesitko Fair enough... that'd be one small knife. Anyway, being from Texas, when I first heard this line I pictured the charm... the actual small bone you give a lady. In the song's context it makes sense to me. But then, Texas is big... with millions of people... many of them drunk.... so you might be right. Or drunk. Probably both.

It's not a knife. It's the penis bone from a raccoon. Like the other guy says they are like toothpicks but they are also used as charms to "see the heart of a woman"... which, of course, makes them 100% useless.
