Just wanted to say! the Winchester white box ammo is made in Russia

good stuff for the m-44 or t-53 good soft point for hunting.

and is good brass for reloads that is what i use.

You will likely get better accuracy with the bayonet attached. The nagants were weighted for use with it.

@huntwithairguns I own both a Nagant revolver and multiple Mosin Nagants. I was not confused. Neither was anyone else with "any knowledge of these types of firearms." Unless you are literally blind there would be no trouble whatsoever distinguishing between which weapon he was refrencing. Both are wrong. End of discussion.

@cwbyfan223 Apparently you didn't comprehend my post. If someone says Mosin it cannot be confused with a different gun, everyone knows what it is. If someone says Nagant then anyone with any knowledge of these type of firearms will automatically think of the revolver, not the Mosin Nagant. Referring to a Mosin Nagant as a "Nagant" is not correct whatsoever.

@cwbyfan223 There isn't another gun called a "Mosin", therefor it's okay to called a Mosin Nagant a Mosin. There IS another gun called a "Nagant", so it's completely incorrect to call a Mosin Nagant a Nagant.

@orng1 "Nagants" don't have a bolt being that they're a revolver. Mosin Nagants on the other hand do. Once you clean it out good, do a little polishing and get the cosmoline out they're pretty smooth.
