  • Nice idea!

  • I made one of these and it does not work! If your land is flat, logs are perfect, and the stars are aligned, then it might work. In my world, the land is uneven, the logs want to roll side-to-side. Nice idea, but not practical if you have rough terrain.

  • @flyingdoctor99 lol id say its cats but cats have turned me off belt drives all together, only other ive seen slipping is a grizzly 660. so im sticking with my honda its never slipped a belt ;) haha

  • @slapoutz huh! I never ever had that experience in my king. Lately I pulled a trawler (about 400kg) offroad and before I was doing some logging of whole trees frozen to the ground. Maybe its a problem of the Cats....

I was pulling 7 Peoples on sleights up the hill - an the belt is still "non-smoker" :)

  • @flyingdoctor99 my dads arctic cat smokes belts all the time in 4 low...

  • @busybill2 if youre doing in low gear and 4x4 there is no smoking belt - thats atv are made for. But in H youre right.

  • Would like to see more detail of your gizmo. I'm in Montana, just pulling logs across snow packed roads. Note to busybill2, I hardly think that little effort is smoking a belt...

  • sniff sniff you smell that its his clutch belt melting!!

  • creative

  • cool cool
