  • @Matthaios4 The plural form for God being used in Genesis 1:1 is to denote excellence and grandeur, and not to show a number of gods.

  • What an amazing admission from William Lane Craig @ 3:15 into the video.... It speaks volumes!

  • Genesis 1:1; In the beginning ELOHIM created the heavens and the earth. ELOHIM (Gods) is plural for Eloah (God). God said, "There is no Gods before or beside me". This is true, there is no God beside Him, but there is a Goddess. For thousands of years She has been known as "Ruach ha Kodesh" (Holy Spirit). The true name of the Holy Spirit is "Shekinyeh"; She is the one that gave birth to Yehoshua, not Mary. When this happened Divine Duality became Divine Trinity.

  • It is written, "Thou shalt have no God before me". No one can have the same authority as God, because he is King of the Universe. Jesus (Yehoshua) however, is the SON of God. He IS the same substance, but NOT the same authority. In scripture he told the Jews he was the SON of God, not God Himself. They called him blasphemous because he said he was the SON, not because he said he was the Father.

  • @giantthaw -Yes there is prophesy and jesus didn't fulfill it. Sorry

  • From these types of debates, I see that Jews will only accept proof from Torah. #1) Rabbi Tovia issued a challenge to find anything other than monothesim in the O.T. See Genesis 3:22. #2) Craig agrees that the fathers of Judaism had "no conscious knowledge of Christ". Yet they had O.T. prophecy of His coming, Then He made a personal appearance and preached to them in hades/paradise/Abraham's bosom 1 Pet 3:18-20; Mt 12:40; Eph 4:8-10. (For the serious N.T.scholar)
