  • The United States will be an afterthought, a memory of a country that was once so great but fell apart when its citizens forgot the message of the founders. As we move into the new century, we'll immigrate to a new country and learn to live by new rules.

As the United States becomes crushed under the weight of its own debt, people will not have the power to say anything to the demands of foreign creditors. There will be no money to wage war.

It was a great experiment and fun while it lasted.

  • I'd just like to live somewhere that does not continually get involved in wars!

  • I'll agree with Mr. Rogers that America's economy is going to tank, but I don't agree that America is going the way of the dinosaur. We're going to take some lumps, but historically we pull through. We have a history of questioning authority and have laws that back us up. Singapore, China, and other Asian countries have historical caste systems in place, and questioning authority doesn't come easy to people living in such systems.

Ebb and flow, Mr. Beal. Ebb and flow.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • @pretorious700 lol, what an idiot. You're a noob in self-discovery. You ain't all that you wish you were. btw, stay off my page, you ass-hat child.

  • @kickyerass lol, what a noob.

  • @CelticReject You can move in any country apart from US. They are the only ones who shift troops around the world without any pain for paying for it.

  • America went to wars for Israel & now they pay > sorry but truth hearts

  • @kickyerass and thats why kissinger is hob knobbing with the elite and you are not. Sure theyre not elitist... you read some history. You probably still think al qaeda is a danger to americans. LOL

  • @deceiver123m No they weren't elitists at all. You need to STFU, as you know nothing, but spout off nothing but moronic drivel. If you have a brain you should read some history.

  • @pretorious700 You are such a clueless asshole! She is extremely well-versed in the subject matter, and he respects her! You should shoot yourself in the face for being such a dumbass and a snob!

  • @TaintedFaith88 do they have mandarin courses there for adult visitors?

  • @itsGerbilsworld yes... but you can't learn mandarin Chinese by living in Australia. In Singapore, a second language is compulsory due to our billingual policy. So it's much easier for his daughters to pick up mandarin, since they can start learning it from 7 years old, all the way up till they are 16 where you become proficient in two languages - english, and mandarin.

Jai Shi Jie Mo Re de qi qian, wei yi nen jiu ni de dong xi, is none other than language proficiency :)

  • I live in Singapore.. and yes. There is a huge fetish for foreign talent here. An island of 3 million without any natural resources cannot survive if it does not open its doors to talented people with good ideas, and open its doors to the world. Competition here is intense, almost to a darwinistic level where the weak are subsumed... be it in schools, or in the corporate world. But such competition ensures that the country survives, and the top is rich enough to support the poor. Good choice Jim

  • This lady interviewer is a typical clueless American jackass.

  • uh but people like Kissinger, said they would use the USA's energy until exhaustion in what they called "push for imperialism", it just simply means a single world Totalitarian government. :) How lovely, i guess the experiment is not over.. it has just been moved to Phase 2. By the way the founding fathers planned phase 2 all along. They were after all a bunch of elitist freemasons.

  • U.S. Debt is TOO EASY to solve. Stop engaging in wars. Get rid of those hundreds of foreign bases. That'll save trillions.

  • Jim Rogers for Secretary of the Economy. Much better than Geithner and Bernanke.

  • @CelticReject

Australia would probably be the right place since it's pretty much the same.. but from what i know it's very hot over there and they have tarantulas D:

  • @edthehead1975 Again you have no point and the WORLD sets the ratings, not me!

  • @aztecking21122012 The point is that being "one of the highest rated countries in the world" depends on what and how you are measuring. And being better than the US in ALL categories (have to agree with you there) isn't saying much.

  • @edthehead1975 What does that have to do with what I said? Typical yank with a dumbass question or answer, like all the rest of them in here in youtube land.

  • @aztecking21122012 The only categories that mean squat to me are 1) public debt 2) external debt 3) Heritage Index of Economic Freedom 4) the degree of socialization of their medical industry. Canada's public and external debts are so-so and they have a single payer healthcare system. Australia and Singapore do not have a single payer healthcare systems. Norway and Switzerland do, but they have better debt situations.

  • @edthehead1975 even Canada? Canada is one of the highest rated countries in the world and ahead of the USA in ALL categories and I mean ALL! The only thing the US can claim as number one is the ability to make war and oppress weaker nations!

  • @Nevawake

I agree! They'll awaken to the realitiy of truth and fact soon though.

  • @edthehead1975

Well, being the American I am I won't say anyplace is better...lol.

    That said,

I live in the Netherlands and trust me, Germany is not where you want to be for any major financial collapse. The Netherlands has extremely high taxes but holds it's own very well. The people here have somewhat mastered financial dicipline and don't go credit happy like we do.

With the push to globalize all life sustaining and necessary items. I don't think there is an escape,
