my favourite 70's 'growing up' program of all time!!
A lot better than some of the semi - animated and CGI rubbish kids watch today... it gave you an insight into real life / reality - something kids are sadly lacking nowadays.
Thanks for loading this up!!

Aaaah...hello childhood, we meet again :-)

I remember when SLL used a different theme called "Cock Of The Roost". Furthermore this tune was also used as the theme to "Scene", another Schools and Colleges classic. Were the TV bods short on imagination or music budgets back in the seventies ? Same goes for "House of The King" - Encounter France and Don't Ask Me. And the Grange Hill theme (Chicken something or other) turned up on at least two other programmes. Ho hum.

That noise at the beginning always used to remind me of the caterpillar thing in Let's Pretend.

@sepul071200 the program you are refarring to is look and read which features the stories the boy from space and the fairground, plus other stories like dark towers, badger girl and geordie racer which i used to watch all as a child. And i love the stop look and listen theme tune it's a bit of jazz-funk.
