@SiliconBong There was a group that called themselves the Bavarian Illuminati, a group of mostly academics who wanted to create a society with similarities to masonry with aims of promoting their view of morality. But they folded after the ruler of Bavaria banned secret societies and internal politicking and disagreements about methods led to the group disbanding around 1787 after about a ten year existance.

@SiliconBong I hear you... looks like there is no convincing people if they don't already know... oh well, it doesn't bother me too much, but every now and then i come out of my tree... people can be so blind... there is nothing I can do about it... if they want to know they'll just have to take a leap of faith... LOL, yea, talk about WW2 vets... we have a Past Master named Arthur, he is in his 90's and rides around on a Harley... Hes a good guy... He was my investigator.

The illuminati never existed, as a society or title: it's just a name, SanguisRegalis. I have to laugh; I was recently 'exposed' as a freemason by devout and staunch youtuber. I retorted with the truth; the very idea the me and my brothers; most of whom are retired WW2 vets, are trying to take over the world is bullsh!t. We just do our thing, we give anonymously to various charity organisations; Salvation Army; Red Cross; Foodbanks . . . and we mind our own business.

@SiliconBong No thank you, thats about it... I was always interested in Royal Arch... the other thing is Illuminati, but Im not even sure they exist, nobody at the lodge knows anything about it..... I think thats bloodline related anyways... but thank you for the info Brother.

All I did to get into the Royal Arch was ask; 'Is there any more I can do, SanguisRegalis. I was told there was a whole world of 'secret' societies and orders waiting for fresh blood . . . , so to speak :)

@kblur198 Well looks like you talked to somebody that wasnt sure about whats going on... its true its looked down upon by catholics... but im catholic and had no problem joining... they asked me if I was sure about joining and made sure i knew that the church didnt like it.... IT WAS MY CHOICE NOT THE CHURCHES NOR ANOTHER MASONS.... and its your choice. petition again, this time dont talk about religion, just tell them that you doing it knowing that the church looks down on it..
