One of my all-time favorite movie moments. I don't even have words to describe how much I love this scene and how it makes me feel...

  • I feel like crying so much watching this.. . it brought back all those memories of myself pretending to be with Eva Marie & Paul Newman.. I imaged all three of us in the towering Inferno. :)

THANK YOU so much for posting it!

  • @SofRegina You imagined yourself with them... oh my gosh, how much do I long to be with Paul and Eva Marie in this scene, throughout the movie... And wouldn't mind being Eva Marie in this scene! ;D It's overwhelmingly beautiful in my eyes... the music, the landscape, the dialogue, the moment: larger than life!!

    ♥♥♥♥♥

You're so welcome!! How happy I feel knowing this has an impact on you too!! :)

  • Just like you, Melisbeth -

One of my FAVORITE scenes anywhere.....been to Israel 5 times, too.

  • To all the people who like this scene. This is the village of Kafar Kana in Galilee Israel. I was born in this village it used to be beautiful but now it is over built up. All the fields you see to the left of the picture are now crowded with houses. There are over 20000 people living in Cana (bible name), The prefab houses built on the hill in the film had been demolished after the movie but the area is still called Exodus.

  • wow.

  • Hard to believe it has been 51 years since this scene was filmed! I was only 5 but recall it showing then!

  • I had that scene in mind when passing mount Tabor last week...I love the valley.

  • makes me so emotional

  • was the shadow in the end the cameraman?
