You're looking for particularities - of which one could only point out the first, totally Azagthoth solo and the riff vaguely reminiscent of Immortal Rites preceding it. On the other hand, I find the similarity in something less apparent, namely, the rolling murky martial rumble - if you'd listen to Covenant you'd understand immediately.

They did release Symphonies Of Sickness before he joined though.

Carcass was a much different band before Ammot joined though. Bunch of 20 second songs. His work in Carnage is definitely a step in the direction Carcass would take with Necroticism.
