  • Your Emmylou Harris posts have great sound and great selections! Thanks

  • I always loved Emmylou's voice and her understated natural beauty. She is a pleasure both to watch and listen to. Her music and looks are still a refreshing change from the war-paint, hair extensions, outrageous costumes and shallow froth that women less talented and less beautiful are churning out these days.

And she always had great musicians in her bands like Albert Lee, Ricky Skaggs and Vince Gill, there isn't space here to name them all.

Thanks for this trip down memory lane.

  • Every time I watch this video, it gives me chills down my spine and sends me to another time. Every member of the Hot Band was an integral piece of the whole, from Albert Lee to Rodney Crowell, Hank DeVito, Glen D. Hardin, Emory Gordy, jr. and John Ware. They made each note count and stayed out of each other's way when it came to solos. Emmylou's voice sounds like an angel from Heaven and she has an aura about her that is absolutely radiant. There will never be another band that reaches so high.

  • @artiscrap Emmylou Harris - Rock Masters DVD

  • wow. love this song. i really like crowell's backing vocals and albert lee's solo. obviously emmlou nails it as ususal. where i can get the whole gig?

  • Albert's playing is as exquisite as ever. Beautiful phrasing that is the mark of a master guitarist. Emmylou's voice at its most wonderful.

  • Best version of the song ever! What a voice! What a woman! Alber Leeis doing that beautiful solo I think.
