:breaks out nursing txtbks: females should not douche. douching washes away your normal flora (google it) & makes it easier for you to end up with bacterial vaginosis (fish smelling bacteria). PID comes from untreated gono or chlamydia that has traveled up into the pelvis. I suppose douching contributes is spreading through the body. If a woman feels that has to douche she may want to see her gyn to make sure there isnt a problem down there because women do not naturally have a strong odor.

Douching is gynecologically unhealthy. If you are having probs with itchin or odor or something they said you should use a tampon dipped in yogurt, I don't know if that really works but that's what I read... but anyways no douching, fem wash, spray all that stuff is not good for you...

In general douching is not good, but hydrogen peroxide does help with BV in some cases. I've also heard of apple cider vinegar (ACV, NOT regular vinegar) being used to help acidify the vagina and u can sit in a tub mixed with ACV and plain water for a week and it'll clear right up. Definitely doing it too often is bad. Technically you shouldn't even use soap down there because being too "clean" is also bad.

2 much of N E-thang makes u an addict but if used properly- there is nothing wrong with a female cleansing her twallawalla!LOL Women are designed 2 cleanse themselves naturally but any sexually active, menstruating female should be open minded and willing to do it. In moderation- Imma HUGE fan of douching cuz I just aint big on running around lookin fly but smellin like I need an autopsy! U digg!lol

i do once every 2-3 mths. cuz i like my cooch to be clean and fresh! and douching is not bad for you....it's excessive douching dats bad for you. didnt know gay guys douched but i guess it kinda makes sense......
