if pet food is so great and nutritional then why arent people eating it too? wake up and smell the kibble... it stinks! if you cant eat it, then neither can your pet. you buy yourself a steak for dinner, why cant Rover have one as well?

@MelissaMagnificent I think Raw feeding is just feeding human-quality meat and stuff for dogs.
Idk what to feed if i bought a pet.
This is helpful for future pet owners and current pet owners.

its funny to read these comments and know that we all care so much about our dog's food. I agree, I don't want anything with the word "meal" in it. It's still all dead food anyway. raw meat, fresh veggies and fruit is the way to go. I did like this guy's first video though and you can learn something from him, no?

I look at it this way. To provide all of the nutrients, pro-biotics, and protein that your dog needs, you would have to feed your dog a myriad of different foods each day. Not only is this expensive, but you're also adding unnecessary calories into your dog's diet. It's very difficult to make sure that your dog is getting the correct % daily values this way. Holistic dog foods contain whole ingredients that are healthy for your dogs without artifical colors or preservatives.

Animal by-products and animal meal are two different things. By-products can include beaks, feathers, feet, nails, etc. These things have no nutritional value and can be hard for your pet to digest. Animal meal (ex. chicken meal) contains meat that has had the water removed. This is to ensure a higher % protein in the food.
In part one of this video, the guy says to avoid foods with meat meal or bone meal listed. Yet in this video he says that Life's Abundance contains things like chicken meal and fish meal. What's up with that? Please explain then what is this meat, chicken, fish or bone meal??

fish meal and chicken meal have a very high protien content than just regular chicken and fish. The process essentially is just removing the water from the meat. However bone meal contains bones! Bones have no nutritional value!
