PS3 Blu-ray Drive Disc Removal

This is just a quick video showing how to remove a stuck disc inside of the PS3 and how to properly re-assemble it.

I do not recommend removing your disc this way unless you absolutely have to.

you guys just could have done the easy way and turn off your ps3 from the back hold the eject button turn it back on from the back and when you hear a sucking noise coming from the ps3 release the eject button and tudda the game comes out like a pack a punched gun thumbs this up so everyone can see

My ps3 won't suck in discs anymore like its supposed to.................

I'm pretty sure its because of the ribbon cable connecting the blu ray drive to my PS3 that is busted. The clip that holds the thing down is busted and some of the metal clippings on the cable connector is busted too. If I want to fix this how do I do it? Is the entire cable busted? Do I have to replace the laser mech since the connector is part of that? PLEASE HELP!

@chilloutfool1 RLOD cant eject the disc , even doing that trick of the back switch and turn on holding the eject buttom , mine got RLOD and it didn't worked

@wwelover999 I find it funny that almost, the same thing happened to me. 60 gig ps3 bought near release. Two days ago it dies while playing skyrim... I heard a POP it turned off and i smelled that burning smell... you know that kind of smelly smell, the kind of smell that smells... smelly lol
