The risk is simply too great for sober drivers to be on the road. Drunk driving will never stop. Stay off the road. Why risk being killed? Just avoid the whole situation. Sell your car, stay at home where it safe. Sober drivers should be ticketed for putting their own and their families lives in danger knowing that they could be hit and killed by a drunk driver. The risk is to great. For God's sake just don't drive sober. If you do drive get drunk first so you'll at least have an equal chance.

Remember those who commit a more serious driving offense get a much lesser penalty. Im talking about text drivers Why? Because not one politition in parliament has the balls to stand up and tackle this, for they know that there would be a public uproar if tx drivers were to get a ban, a heavy fine, endorsement, insurance hike, solicitors fees, possible job loss which some companies would never employ again, and be looked at as a criminal. Screw MADD. Yes, drunk drivers kill. BUT the alcohol blood levels in most states have been lowered to levels that don't even impair the driver. The woman who founded MADD left the group because they're fanatics. Before 1984, a musician could make a decent living just doing bar gigs. Then they raised the drinking age and put cops outside the bars to lie in wait. The live music scene has never really come back! Thank you, MADD for 36 years of wedding gigs and a day job.

please fellow drivers be careful! my sister drives and i have just passed driving school. i saw many videos but they didnt get to me until i saw one with a guy talking about how he lost is sister to a drunk driver. i literally started crying in the middle of class. everyone has family and no one wants to truly lose them. yes they can get aggravating but we all still love them. if your friend is drunk and you are not then YOU drive them home. dont let your friends or family be a victim. PASS IT!

On a serious note this would not be a winable war until EVERYONE is willing to allow legislation that would mandate ignition interlocks on all motor vehicles. As long as there is alcohol and cars there's gonna be drinking and driving. How about it, you willing to lobby for interlocks on all vehicles (including your own) to stop the epidemic???
