  • My wife is a big reader and I'm trying to decide between the fire and kindle touch for a christmas gift. How is reading a book on the screen? I've heard that changing the background to sepia makes it easier on the eyes, what are your thoughts on this?

  • @mist4fun Reading a book is very good. The fonts are super clear (some kind of special Amazong tech for this) , and yes I am reading in sepia background which is less harsh on the eye than black on white. Loving it. The only possible drawback would be reading outdoors, as it is a glossy glass display surface. I ordered a skin for it from Amazing that is supposed to take out the glare, but I haven't received it yet. Thanks for viewing and feel free to ask any more questions you might have

  • please switch to 480p!! much easier to read the screen....thanks
