Ahhhhh. I hear that old familiar horn at least once a day as it goes by my town. Brings back memories of my childhood when the Pasadena Subdivision saw much more action.
Before on the local that serves the mobile refinery in Torrance, there would always be a GP30 or two powering the local. Now it seems to be mostly GP38s and 39s.

The melodic sound of the air horn on the lead locomotive GP30. Love those EMD units and Santa Fe.

I missed them. Now I see two Santa Fe warbonnets at the same line which is nice but I miss GP30s.
