An awesome song–the lyrics are so sad but tell a whole story like a good country song would. The Nylons did a great doo-wop a cappella version of this as well.

That's so true - nowadays there's such an intolerant & angry atmosphere everywhere (real life and internet) - it seems people don't know how to get along well - live well with one another anymore: many are just politically correct but individualism and anger keep ruling :(
