Yes, great documentary; took me some time to prepare subtitles and find someone to translate it but it was totally worth it.
Ceausescu had to go because 1) he dared to pay off the entire 21 billion dollar of Romanian external debt thus putting the stop on diplomatic blackmail 2) he dared to oppose Gorbachev's Reagan-Thatcher- encouraged "liberalization" reforms.
Just check out the makeshift kangaroo court and a crying executioner:

@dbotz618 yes, of course it is better, given the fact that we have entered the EU, but there is still a lot of place for improvement.
