  • @shaobri8 Yes, I think the police have lost their way and now in most cases they are not needed. If people would exercise their 2nd Amendment and take their personal and property protection into their own hands, then cops wouldn't be needed in most cases. Just detectives to clear the scene afterwards. Police have become the most dangerous and violent gang in our streets. They have become power-drunk and no longer work for the people.

  • @1775novten What the fuck guy are you high? It's called the 4th amendment dumbass. The 4th amendment protects your sorry ass from un-lawful police. It keeps police inline and points out the bad police so they get taken off the street. You take away police and there would be so much destruction and mayhem. Why do you think they were created in the first place hmm??

  • @77internationalscout Oh, I could have. I just opted not to, because I didn't like the way my city department handled themselves. I did numerous ride-alongs with numerous different officers and it was always the same complacent "standard routine" attitude. I didn't view them as servants or peace officers. None of them ever tried building relationships with the community - it was always an us against them attitude. Not how I envisioned my service.

  • @1775novten Coming from the marines like my old man you should have gotten a job being a cop anywhere easy

  • @77internationalscout Oh I agree with you 100% that cops deal with a lot of bs and people continually call them for the stupidest of reasons. Again, I never said all cops are bad. I also understand the requirements to become a cop, as I was actually in the process of becoming one myself when I got out of the Marine Corps. It may have just been my city, but I decided they didn't do things they way I liked and opted out. I'm sure there are great departments though.

  • @1775novten If a cop fucks up they will not get hired by any other department. There is nothing to fall back on. Are you a cop? Is any of you family members cops? Well i have many in my family who are and i am going to school for criminal justice. Cops get so much shit and all they do is babysit morons and help people. Its bc of 1 or 2 bad cops out of millions that ruin it for other cops. It is extremly hard and you have to be 100% squared away to even consider being a cop.

  • @77internationalscout There are not huge repercussions for bad cops - getting fired is not a huge repercussions. You would get fired from your job as well if you did something that warranted it. The difference is that if cops commit a crime they just get fired, but if a citizen commits a crime they can get arrested and fired. Are you clear on what government means? I didn't say Federal government.

  • @1775novten There are huge repercussions for bad behaving cops, its called getting fired, the 4th amendment protects against unlawful cops and does a pretty damn good job. It make it extremly hard for cops to become out of line. Plus your government statement is false. State police and local cops are funded by the state powers not the Gov. Government controls border patrol and shit.

  • @77internationalscout In some locations my statement is true. A group of unarmed people that can unleash brutal violence without repercussion is terrifying and is no different than the mafia. The police have the backing of the government and literally get away with murder. I'm sure you've seen countless videos on here of blatant thugs in uniforms terrorizing citizens and subjecting them to brutality. But I know it isn't like that everywhere.
