Gordon Cordova's start-to-finish fly tying demo was videotaped at the 2009 NW Fly Tyers Expo in Albany, Oregon. See http://www.flytyerexpo.com for the other start-to-finish demos on this 2-hour DVD, one of 43 DVDs with hundreds of tyers anf patterns produced by the Oregon Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers (http://www.orcfff.org) from 1989 through 2009.
Every type of fly is demonstrated from the simplest nymph to the most delicate mayfly, from deer hair bass bugs to Atlantic Salmon flies. The best and most innovative fly tyers from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and California are all caught on video. The Expo is held in March each year at The Linn Co. Fairgrounds in Albany, Oregon. (Previously held at the Lane Co. Fairgrounds in Eugene, Oregon.)
You'll find additional information about the 2009 and 2010 Expos at http://www.nwflytyerexpo.com and about the Federation of Fly Fishers at http://www.fedflyfishers.org. These videos have been produced every year for the Oregon Council by volunteers from Public Access Cable station Community Television of Lane County (http://www.CTV29.org) and are distributed for the Council by Tom Cleveland of Pacific Video & Internet via http://www.flytyerexpo.com.
