I love this song so much! It speaks to every heart that has ever felt betrayed. Including mine. I am over the broken heart but I still love the song. Guess it reminds me that no matter how devastated we can feel with the loss of a love, we can overcome. Of course, Regina Belle could sing the phone book and it would touch the soul. Thank you for posting this beautiful song!

I used to listen to this song over and over and cry and when my boys was younger they used to say "Mom is something wrong" I used to just laugh and tell them they wouldn't understand.

In February 1988, this was the only song I could play. I pined for a man that didn't love me and I couldn't handle it, I was only 16. I played it til it was scratched and warped. My father ripped open my bedroom door one night and handed me $40 to stop playing this song! I laughed, but I had to tape it so I could play it on my walkman. This song gave me my sanity...love love love Regina from the first time I saw her...
