Friday Night Magic CH.2

I woke up in my orange covers sprawled everywhere. Stacy was next to me, black hair in her sleeping face. I rubbed my eyes and yawned. “Staples, wake up, we got to get ready.". Stacy smiled sleepingly at me. “Good morning sweetie do you feel better?" I smiled. After that I always am but I was too sleepy to say it. Lazy, eh? “Yeah." She touched my cheek. Her hands were soft and warm. That made me smile too." happy anniversary." I sat up. I was naked for except my yellow undies. I blinked in surprise. “Already? Wow. I got to give you your present!!!Oh but it'll have to wait till after school though." she chuckled. She sat up on her elbows. She was naked also, with purple frilly undies that I played with during the night. "And don't worry that wasn't it yet." I smiled and wrapped an orange sheet around me and climbed out of bed. She always knew what to say. I got dressed after taking a hot shower. Stacy said she was going to join me but she said later on that night they would. She also ran over t her dorm to get some clean clothes. I went out of the bathroom and saw Stacy staring at me. “What? My chocolate milk stain is that noticeable?"I pulled at my ' I LIKE PIZZA' shirt. She chuckled and came over to me and hugged me. As we embraced, we nuzzled each other’s cheeks. She whispered in my ear. “You look sexy as always" and she kissed me. I kissed back but I knew this had to be a short one. My finger touched her lips before her tongue met mine. She frowned." Katie...." “More to night not now." She still gave me another peck and put out her hand. "Come on Andrew will be here soon." I took it and we headed out the door and down the hall to a smiling James and a book stack with legs. I examined the books. So Mrs. McDonaldson was wrong about books walking off on their own.... I thought this until the stack of books grunted. “Andrew!" I was startled. How couldd I've not of seen him behind there! “Gosh you are such a book worm."Stacy flipped her hair and laughed. "These...books......ain't...*grunt*....mine" I giggled and I and Stacy swung our hands.Suddenly James had a weird expression on his face. He stared at mine and Stacy’s hands entwindled together. Before he could say anything I let go and grabbed some of Andrews I mean James books. I picked about four off the top." I’ll help." Stacy frowned at me and Andy thanked me. Stacy cleared her throat. “So uh James what are all these books for anyways?" “Books from this and last year that I am supposed to turn in." Andy eased the books in his hands."I thought this was your unfinished work." James smirked at him and we all laughed and went our ways.

Later that night I sat on my bed figuring out a tricky math problem. Stacy came in and frowned at me and stomped her foot." Katie we need to talk" I mumbled some of my math problem and chewed on my pencil. "Katie!" I jumped dropping my pencil. I gulped as she spoke. “What is wrong with you today I mean you never like to carry other people’s books or go to the library during lunch when I hugged you! What is wrong?" “Stacy Andrew needed help so I did and Mrs. Ertrude needed me...” she raised her voice." you know what I know what’s wrong... and you want to know what it is?!? You don't want to admit you’re a lez!!" she inched toward me and her face was red. I.I backed up a bit and felt scared." Stacy its not--" " You don't want to get seen with me cause you'll get made fun of and really Katie when did you ever care about being different?!?!" "Stacy please---" “oh don't Stacy please me!! You know damn well i'm right so quit lying to yourself. And worse, quit lying to me!! Oh you say you love me but you don't even want to be with!!" She inched closer and closer till she was right in front of me" Stacy I do love---""the hell with that!! If you loved me we'd not be having this conversation.......are you just in it for the sex?" Tears filled my eyes. I was so offended."Stacy Menroe I do love you and not just for pleasure! I'm in it to be with you! Remember... for together forever." “Katelynn Owens!! You are the worst gf I ever had! Were through!" my heart broke as the tears over flowed and poured out." I --" “OVER!!!!"Her face was covered with angry tears. She stomped out breaking my pencil and throwing something on the floor .I picked up the broken item she had dropped and gasped. It was a gold heart necklace. Then heart was made of wood and had cracked right down the middle. The hart read Katie + Stacy 4ever. And it was hand carved. My present was in my pocket. I could feel its case. I just looked at the necklace and cried. I held the necklace knowing exactly how it felt....

The next morning the sun strained to shine through my closed blinds......
