Thank you for this video it was very helpful,... I guess I just have heavy hands cause I kept digging in the tire.. it does help that my cousin owns a tire shop.. SO SHOULD I JUST LET THE GRINDER DO THE WORK OR DO APPLY PRESSURE...

If you do do this be very F#@&^% careful...if you buff into the actual black compound (not the veneer over the white but the actual Black Sidewall) you will have initiated a crack in the sidewall, so make sure you stop just below the veneer/sidewall junction. Also if you don't buff smoothly then you will have initiated 1000000 cracks into the white compound. And last but not least, the black/white interface will turn yellow quickly because the black still has (hopefully) 6PPD. Not worth it.

Does ths work for motorcycle tires as well?

@jasonsps78 It will work on motorcycle tires with white letters or narrow white walls, but even I do NOT recomend it. Even though I haven't had a single problem with this method, it's just not worth the risk on a bike. Losing a tire on a car is one thing, losing a tire on a bike means seruius injury or death.
