The MOST underated voice in rock and keyboadist !
Been to every Kansas concert in my area, just saw them last year and this man, Steve Walsh, is the main reason I see them time and time again ! This song just sends chills through me!
BTW, Why the hell aren't these guys in the Rock Hall of Fame ? Just goes to show you where most peoples musical taste lies !

Even though Steve has lost some tone and range, at his 1/2 best he's still better than the overwhelming majority of rock vocalists out there especially those his age.

I was born and breed in Lawrence Kansas, I am 54 now. I partied with Steve and Stienhardt back in 72' before they got big...watched them at the old opera house in Lawrence Kansas...rock on brothers of the south land.

Saw them in Vancouver BC opening for Bad Company, I went to see Bad Company, never heard of Kansas. When they came on and played Icarus, Born on Wings of Steel I had goosebumbs, that was back in the 70's and I have never looked back, my favorite band of all time and I am a professional musician. Oh, Paul Rogers first comment went Bad Co went on was " we are not quite that complicated!!!!! Steve Walsh is indeed Kanas. hope they come back to Vancouver BC, I will take my daughter

If possible please add "serious wreckage" - what a powerful song with a climax that combines very emotional lyrics with a heavy yet melodic sound. I believe the song may have been about himself to some extent but can't confirm that.
