The Spirit of Delilah has been used for centuries to attack the mighty anointed people of God. It is still at work today. It can come to you attached to a woman OR a man. It is seductive, comforting, helpful and often appears spiritual and loving, but its mission is not to love you, but to destroy you.

Every Christian needs to know how to recognize the Spirit of Delilah, and to keep it out of your life!

Have You Encountered the Spirit of Delilah? also on Straight Talk with Glynda Lomax on Blog Talk Radio - you can find it here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/glyndalomax - Look in the archives for the January 19, 2012 episode.

PLEASE NOTE: Rude, negative or insulting comments will not be posted on this video. Comments degrading other teachers or ministries also will not be approved. I have no interest in jumping on the hate against mega-ministries and TV evangelists bandwagon. If that's your thing, that's between you and God, but I will not be a part of it. What other ministers teach is not for me to judge other than whether I myself will listen to it. The Lord has made that very clear to me.

Also, for those of you who dislike what I share, or my sharing style or my southern accent, please find someone else's videos to watch.

God bless you.

  • Thank you Glenda. I believe that this message was for me and my wife during this hard situation. God bless you.

  • @jamesthetodd - You are very welcome. Thanks for posting! Blessings to you, Glynda

  • having been the victim of betrayal I can truly say that your message is straight from the heart of God. Satan spins his web of deception so finely that if we are outside the will of God, we will never notice until we are trapped by whatever was so formerly desired. My pastor preached "don't hang around sin and it won't hang around you". Sin promises so much, yet it can destroy everything.

  • @wordtotell - Don't hang around sin and it won't hang around you - I love that! I'm gonna have to tweet that :-) Thanks for posting! Blessings to you! ~ Glynda

  • You know, it never even occurred to me that this spirit of Delilah could be found in a man.....and as I listened to your message it began to make more and more sense. The Bible says you will know someone by their fruit....unfortunately sometimes you have to get too close before you realize the deception.

  • @PenelopeA57 - I never thought of it either!

  • Wow great message, thanks for sharing.

  • glynda thanks for this powerful message on the spirit of delilah curtis and lois mccoy

  • Watch for 3 big demons: Jezebel, Delilah, & Athaliah. Jezebel is a manipulator, Athaliah is a control freak, & Delilah is basically a giant tick that feeds on an anointed person until they fall. Delilah had no interest in controlling the kingdom; her focus was entirely on bringing Samson down. Once he fell SHE DISAPPEARED.

  • thanks again sister. Good message for those who are in the midst of being seduced by fraudulent characters.

  • With the kind You show Yourself kind.

    Thanks sister.

With the blameless You show Yourself blameless.

With the pure You show Yourself pure.

And with the crooked You show Yourself twisted.

    Psalm 18:25-26

  • Delilah can also be viewed as a parable for the conveniences of this world.

But the world is transitory, we should not bind ourselves to it, not fall in love with her.

The prince of this world uses the lure of the passing world to lead away from God.
