National Kenya airways has bounced back to profitability posting a 2.6 billion shilling pre-tax profit for the year ended 31st march 2010. The airline which posted a 5.66 billion shillings loss last year registered positive results on the back of a weakening shilling and reduced operating costs occasioned by a drop in fuel prices. Kenya Airways however still face the challenge of an aging fleet and an unresolved industrial dispute by its unionisable employees.
