In Coena Domini
Lamentatio III

IOD
Manum suam misit hostis
ad omnia desiderabilia eius:
quia vidit gentes ingressas sanctuarium suum,
de quibus praeceperas ne intrarent
in ecclesiam tuam.

CAPH
Omnis populus eius gemens,
et quaerens panem:
dederunt pretiosa quaeque pro cibo
ad refocillandam animam.
Vide, Domine,
et considera quoniam facta sum vilis.

Ierusalem, Ierusalem,
convertere ad Dominum Deum tuum.

Lamentaciones del Jueves Santo
-Lamentación III

Jod.
El enemigo ha echado mano
a todos sus tesoros;
ella ha visto a los gentiles penetrar
en su santuario,
aunque tú habías prohibido
que entraran en tu congregación.

Caph.
Todo su pueblo, entre gemidos,
anda buscando pan,
ofrecían sus tesoros por comida
para reanimar su espíritu.
Mira, Señor, fíjate
como estoy envilecida.

Jerusalén, Jerusalén,
vuélvete hacia el Señor tu Dios.

Lamentations pour le Jeudi saint
Lamentation III

IOD L'ennemi a étendu la main
sur tout ce qui lui était cher:
car elle a vu entrer dans son sanctuaire des peuples
auxquels tu avais interdit
l'entrée de ton assemblée

CAPH Tout son peuple gémit
en quête de pain:
ils ont donné leurs bien précieux pour de la
nourriture pour restaurer leur âme.

Vois, Seigneur,
et regarde comme je suis devenue vile.

Jérusalem, Jérusalem,
tourne-toi vers le Seigneur, ton Dieu.

Lamentations for Maundy Thursday
-Lamentation III

IOD The enemy has laid his hands
on all that was precious to her;
for she has seen peoples coming into her sanctuary
whom you had forbidden
to enter your assembly.

CAPH All her people are sighing,
and searching for bread:
they have bartered all their precious
belongings for food to revive their soul.

Look, Lord,
and consider how I have become vile.

Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
turn to the Lord your God.
