whats up eat pez its overkill. love these rotarded comments on here. such haters. long live the ls1 swap in the rx7's. people dont know what they are missing

Rotary engines are junk. That is why they get replaced. Try and understand facts before you come on this vid!
-
nice! good to see you got rid of the junk rotor

@hitachi088 EatPez' reply is spot on. It is a common misconception that the LS1 is tons heavier than the rotary. Yes it is changing the fundemental point of the car but it is a change for the better. More economy, much better reliability and drive-ability are the result of this swap.

Nice, and EatPez ur a class act, unlike 99% of youtube people u stand up for urself with facts! Kudos man.

Eatpez, don't worry. I have seen guys with 6-speed LS1 cars getting 28-31mpg on the highway. So putting that motor in a lighter car, should even give better MPG also. What the rotary guys don't understand, is that this motor can pull it'self along at 1,800 RPM'S on the highway and that is where it gets it's good MPG. Why do you think the C6 Z06 tops out in 5th, because 6th is just a overdrive gear.

v8 rx7's equal win. 'nuff said XD

The Wankel engine, neat as it is, has about the worst horsepower per fuel volume consumed for any IC engine.
Mr Hitachi, I find it hilarious that you bring out the "Fucking stupid American" label, yet you learned a bit of English to communicate with an apparent group of retards. Fucking stupid Americans likely designed the computer and OS you are ranting on, and a group of (now very rich) fucking stupid Americans gave you this wonderful website in which you can lament our very existence.

This peaple is "interested to your vid". :D
I don't understand people that slam certain technology because it's not part of their "club".
People try to praise the rotary engine because it uses very f few parts, than they slam a pushrod design, no matter how developed, for the exact same reason! Few parts, but still high flowing heads... simplicity, light weight, low failure risk.
Yes, lighter than a 13bT. It's not all aluminum, plus it has a turbo manifold, turbo, wastegate, turbo piping, intercooler, etc. so a turbo engine IS heavier than an NA. Why did Mazda publish weights 88GXL = 2625lbs, 88TII = 2844.
Give me your email and I'll send you a vid of a stock R1 weighted against a swap
And don't be preaching to the "haters" when that's what you're coming in here to do.
Also, tell us about your name. What does FC3S supposed to mean? Do you have more than one?

my ass it gets better gas milage and it weights less...its a v8 even if its alluminum, how you compare it to a rotarys weight??? i understand why you would pull a bad running engine out but danm at least get a 13t a turbo II motor and make the power the right way...lol

Yes, it weighs less, gets better gas mileage, makes more power, and is more dependable than any 13b out there. Sorry to burst your bubble. There are documented cars being corner weighed with a 13b and an LS1. LS1 block is 92lbs, heads are 19lbs each, add a rotating assembly, aluminum oil pan, and a plastic intake manifold, and you've got a motor. And sorry that I improved MY car and YOU have a problem with it.

Hitachi. The rotary was far from perfect. 1st of all, it had 2 blown rear apex seals, 2nd the ALL IRON 13b weighs more than the ALL ALUMINUM V8. A brand new S4 13b is rated at 135hp and 95lbs of torque. Brand new LS1 is rated at 335hp and 370lbs. So to sum it up, it weighs less, has over 2x the hp and 3x the tq and gets better gas mileage (30mpgs, lets' see your perfect motor do that) and quadruples the resale value of the car. Sorry to burst your bubble. Tell Mazda Kid to come get some.
