  • The story goes, you started sending spoof tapes in to your colleagues on the A&R team which they took as serious. Is that true, Graham?

  • It's like watching Arthur Lowe or Steve Coogan in action, you keep seeing bits of their comedy persona break through.

  • He looks nothing like John Shuttleworth does he!? I was expecting him to look older!!

  • Yorkshire legend

  • He's quite handsome in real life, I don't feel so weird fancying John Shuttleworth now hahaha

  • Ooof! Long live John Shuttleworth, and that Graham Fellows bloke and his hypnotist - who is SO right!

Graham should be proud of John and all his other characters - Ken, Joan, Mary, Brian, Dave et al - they are all a part of him, and yes revel in them, you most definitely have some magic going off there.

I have to say that John Shuttleworth and his entourage have kept me smiling through a few difficult years just recently, so a big thank you, and keep on a keeping on!

  • Interesting to see you out of character.

I loved your 500 Bus Stops shows.

  • I didn't realise you were almost normal in real life. I thought you were really John Shuttleworth.

  • Dear Graham, I am so pleased that you didn't give up on John. You created a wonderful character who makes an awful lot of people soooo happy (including me of course). Thank you for John and all the joy you bring, and know you have done something really special. p.s. love the builder too, and the lecturer in media studies and of course Jilted John. Hoping to see you soon on your next tour (I never miss). J X
