The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Graphics Problems

These are some problems I have when running oblivion.this is the first time i noticed this. im thinking its my video card, but when i first ran the game it looked fine.
i think the problem was that one day i was screwing around with it, and i added (just to see if it would work) -dxlevel 70 to the command line on the shortcut. i dont see how it could do this though. because i took it off and it still does this.
when i put the command in, it doesnt let me start. but when i eject and close the disc drive, it lets me start.wow.
My video card is:Nvidia geforce 6150SE nforce 430
my average frames per second outdoors are about 30-40.
indoors 60 and higher.

DO NOT Try The -dxlevel 70
Or Anything Like That. It Was The Cause Of The Problem. Also I Bought a New Graphics Card With Good Up-To-Date Drivers And It Was Fixed.
I Can Play Oblivion At Max Settings At 40 fps Average. Oblivion Is One Of The Best Games I Have Played.

dude that could just be your graphics card (yeah i read that you updated it) thats what the graphics look like on very low detail too.

yeah it actually wasnt the graphics card since i remember playing it on medium and never looked like this.

Reinstall oblivion. Your texture files got screwed up.

tried that. oh btw when i went to the construction set, the game looked perfect. the lighting was great and everything.

wait, oblivion runs with just a Nvidia geforce 6150SE? cus i have a 6150 LE and i thought it wouldnt work so i didnt get it...

What is your video card? If you don't have enough texture memory sometimes textures don't load.

I NEED HELP!!! I've installed TES4: Oblivion yesterday and when I stared a new game the "most" of the game was white. I could only "see/make out" outlines of items and furniture, eyes, mouth and some items of NPCs. Also when I tried to open my journal or enter my inventory the game chrashed.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

you have a out of order mod blocking others change the order of the mods loaded and it should help... if not you must of over lapped a mesh and texture file... only thing to do is trial and error with the mods you use.
