  • I'm having a hard time hearing what you say about the optical slave sync solution with the Broncos. How and where did you put the slave and did you use only one SB-800 as main light?

Great pic's and nice bts by the way.

  • @pixeleraproduktion thanks.

The optical slave is in the water. It's plugged into a sync lead which runs to the pack which is dry side and "waterproofed" using a plastic bag and some duck tape. It's held underwater by some small weights.

There was one flash on camera triggering everything and 2 more SBs in the water for fill. As the shoot went on there was more and more makeup in the water and the slaves didn't always fire.

  • Ok and thanks for your answer. I'm going down under first time next weekend and starting out with a large backdrop and the existing light. Have you ever done this with some kind of constant light solution?

Sorry for the late reply btw.

  • Beautiful shots, great job.
