Beautiful wild horse photographs set to the music of, "Wylie and the Wild West" and created in support of efforts to preserve these living legends.

My DVDs are made in the hopes that seeing just how beautiful the wild horses are, folks will be inspired to consider acting on their behalf to preserve the few that are remaining. When I saw my first wild horse, that's exactly what happened to me and now I use my photography to bring awareness to their uncertain future. Up until a few years ago, I didn't even realize wild horses were still out there on the ranges. That is the very reaction I get from most people when I tell them how I spend my vacations these days. Photographing and promoting the wild horses seems to have become my passion and purpose. They are magnificent - very complex and family oriented. Fascinating to observe and photograph.

This is a short clip from my full length DVD. (Of course, this clip is not representative of the image quality of the actual DVD). There are now 2 DVD's available for purchase on my website: http://www.nickolesphotography.com/HTML/cardsdvd.htm (There are several useful/informative wild horse links listed on my site as well).

  • gorgeous, would you mind telling me where theses horses are in the world?? thankyou

  • Thanks MillayMare - in this particular clip, most of the horses are from the Pryor Mountains of Montana. There are also horses from McCullough Peaks, WY and Corolla, Outer Banks, NC.
