the version thats on "who came first" is actually an edited version....the longer version by Pete/Ronnie is on "Happy Birthday"....a album for Baba that was not released to the public until (finally on disc) a few years ago. I was able to find all three of the Baba albums...they are still out there but very rare. Peace

No doubt Pete is reading the words to this as he sings. He's terrible at remembering lyrics to songs. HAHA!!

@mhaces 1 side of the disc plays a mini doc about the album with Glyn Johns and Pete interviews from 5-6 years ago.
-
@muttilo cool! and what comes in the dvd? I have the cd only version, and wasn't aware there's a version with dvd included.
-
wow! i never knew there was a live version of this! this is awesome.
any chance of you guys knowing of other live versions from the rest of the who came first album???
-
It first showed up as 'Stone' on Faces' debut album, 'First Step'. With Ronnie singing.
-
FYI the first commercial release was the Small Faces "First Step" album. It also appears on the Ronnie Lane Solo album (England and US have diff albums)...then all the rest.......

My understanding is that Stone was rechristened Evolution for Who Came First.

Well not me, but I've heard about it happening to other people.
