beautiful, i was 8 when my great grandpa died in his favorite chair with a fishin pole doin what he loved, now 11 years later i joined the military and im sure he would be proud

Although my great grandpa isn't dead, his health is plummeting, i haven't seen him in probably a year or two. i love him. but because of family we don't visit when our great aunt is home. i remember him telling stories about when he lived on the farm. And telling stories about my grandma, when she used to get in trouble. I loved to listen. I miss him. he's showing early signs of alzhiemers and I'm afriand theres not much in him anymore. he naps alot, and weighs less and less. i love him so much.

This song makes me cry everytime i listen to it now... my great grandpa died last month... I sat there and watched him tak his last breath. I had my hand on his heart and felt his heart stop beating. I was very upset about it...and still am... :'( but at least he is in a better place now and hes not sick anymore thats what we have to think about

they played this at my grandpa's funeral, 2wks ago today....he was 86, and i know, he lived a long life and all, but this does not ease the pain, of loosing a loved one......it's always been easy for me to come up with words or prayers of 'OKAY THIS IS IT, THIS IS MY LAST TIME TALKING TO U FACE TO FACE"..........I DREW A COMPLETE BLANK, i couldn't think,i was complete lost for praying....this song came on......i was like thank you god.

They played this at my grandpa's funeral. We were really close. Gosh i miss him so much. Not a day goes by that I don't. :,( This song really gets to me. I know he's looking down on me from heaven. I love you grandpa. Forever and always.

my grandpa never did die but my tutu(greatgrandparent) did and i miss him so damn much its hard also when you are 11 an you knew him for so long. for all the people that lost their grandparents im so damn sorry
