Well said, The city of man Babylon the whore is contrasted to the Holy city of God the new Jerusalem (the true church). The whore represents the center of idol worship and materialism. The whore will be destroyed by an alliance of 10 nations that are isolated and dominated by the whore.

I like the imagery of the biblical whore- a city
overtaken with corruption and injustice- the result also will be destruction unless we all repent.
