6 year old, Stagsden Anjou (Joe). This is him and I schooling and competing a little since we have been at uni.
We are currently workng on half pss, flying changes and collection.
I am only introducing Joe to the flying changes - so at the moment he is change front first - which is only for now as he is listerning to me well and is always willing. Half pass is ok, just needs to be tidied up. The collection the coming really well.
He has started to really mature now which is good! So i can do more things with him without him throwing a tantrum! Although his jumping is still very green!!
Hope you have seen an improvement in him!

how come you have to use doubble reins on him?? i have a 4yo haflinger cross and hes amazing at dressage =)

@Megglez94 because im riding him in a pelham, and using double reins are better than roundings when riding in a pelham.

As always, your Haflinger is moving beautifully. I cannot get my darling Haflinger to move faster off the leg in the RING. Out in the field she can extend. Any suggestions?

@hunthevalley, thankyou very much! i don't really have any suggestions. If i had that problem i would properly do really fast, fun work in the ring and school outside - see if that changes anything and just gradually get the schooling in the ring. Hope all goes well.
