The FLIP Ultra HD Video Performance

http://www.futurelooks.com - As part of our review, we took random video clips with our FLIP Ultra HD. We checked out its low light performance, its macro/close up performance, how it handles quick moving fuzzy animals, and what things look like on a nice sunny day.

The "macro" section looks blurry because the Flip doesn't have a macro mode. It's a fixed focus lens. 1.5 meters to infinity. Once you get in that close range you'll lose focus

It's a very good camera for the price but you have to use it within its limits. No super close-ups, and despite the portability, you're best off with a tripod. These tiny lenses with CMOS sensors get a lot of "wobble", which is more than just camera shake alone, that's why it looks so shaky

Why do you continuously say "Macro" when there is in fact, NO macro lens on the Flip Ultra HD?

These cameras are only good for mid-to-far distance recording, NOT close ups because it doesnt have any focusing whatsoever.

@FinnieJr You're correct about the macro thing. You can just buy a new lens to put on it or simply.. hold a magnify glass in front of the lens, it works PERFECT then (see my latest video)

@kaveack Windows Movie make will degrade quality so you will not get that upload it straight from the camera don't touch it and then it will work
