Outspoken rocker and host of The Henry Rollins Show on IFC, Henry Rollins has never been shy with his point of view. Rollins has toured Afghanistan to support the troops and has something in common with celebrities like Angelina Jolie and her work in Africa. But don't get Henry started when it comes to famous people getting up on their soap boxes. "Celebrities I don't really care. Quite honestly when celebrities sound off about politics, when celebrities take a stand, I tune out. When Barbra Streisand, 'goes I think,' I'm like, 'click.' Don't want to know. Henry Rollins is cool as shit. I met him in '04 at Camp Falcon in South Baghdad. Nobody worth mentioning would come out to our shithole little camp. The big names claimed they were doing things for the troops, but they would only go to the heavily fortified big camps with airstrips and Burger King.

i love that he backs up his claim that he is not a celebrity by repeating, "no i'm not! no i'm not!" bit parts in tacky hollywood movies (bad boys 2, wrong turn 2, alibi); his own TV chat show; interviews and press conferences all the time: this man is every bit a celebrity, he obviously has money, and he is, in short, fucking absurd.

@SuperSquishface let me see: he takes his shirt off on stage to reveal his rippling muscle and tattoos; his lyrics include things like "I don't care - gonna fuck you anyways/don't care - your boyfriends here anyways/don't care - is that a tampon on anyways/don't care - well your gross anyways"; and he talks about how he hates morrissey because he sings about how unhappy this world makes him. you're right, he's a veritable paradigm of sensitivity.
