love rich mullins and this song. his heart was broken when a lady he loved left him. he said later: "It pleased God to break my heart . . . and I am glad He did." May we all get to a place spiritually and emotionally where Jesus is our ultimate lover, and we all define ourselves by Him and not by anyone or anything else. Rich was not just a singer or song writer, he was an artist, and now he sings (no doubt) at the right hand of the Father.

I am so glad for my friend Rich. Really. Never met the man, but feel utterly loved and known by him....and like any good saint, he points me to our Jesus. There are times when his music is the only balm. He inspires me to keep seeking this God of Love. It's all worth it....
