I have no doubt that David Eugene Edwards is a committed Christian. (Listen to the the totality of his music, and see the documentary "The Preacher.") This does not mean he might not have struggles. He seems really fried here when he talks in the beginning. In other videos where I have heard him speak he seems quite lucid and articulate
