Buckingham Palace in Ace Combat 6?

About a month ago I was given an assignment from college to find out a few things:

1. How real world objects were implemented into a video game.
2. The realism in both gameplay and visuals of a video game.

I used Ace Combat 6 as my example. When I was using bad ground texturing as an example, I stumbled across the Gracemeria Castle. And I noticed it, as well as the ground around it, looked familiar to something I'd seen before....

Higher resulotion textures takes alot of power from the xbox, I dont know if they can make it much better without having to remove something else.

@RcAntax Agreed. I suppose the processing power was directed more or less towards the stars of the show: the aircraft. I guess what I said was a little too harsh, I couldn't do a better job anyway XD.

That's more like the New York Life Building or the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Building in New York with the green top. I say that because really if they wished to emulate the Empire State Building, that particular building would tower over its neighboring buildings.

@Comptech224 Did some research, and I have to agree with you on the Metropolitan Life Building Tower, it looks a lot similar.

But a building doesn't have to be to exact scale in a fictional scenario like this. Even if it were modelled on the ESB, they might have wanted it to be slightly smaller.

Ace Combat 6's ground textures look much better then hawx's ground textures.
