Simplest is to draw your line, select then in Edit menu>change shape to> line.

Alternately use a vector application like Inkscape..

Jarnal and Xournal are similar programs - or you can try the experimental InkSeine produced by Microsoft Research labs.

  • how can i do auto-smooth freehand to straight lines in windows journal?

  • I've been using WJ for years. Do you know if there are any other programs like it? I teach math and I wish one of the templates was the kind of graph paper we use...light background easy to make axes on it. Also wish there was easy way to insert a graph or to draw a straight line. Hard to believe they didn't think of that. If you know of a way to pass on suggestions for these kinds of updates, or know of any other software that is similar but with more features, let me know. Nice video!!

  • Extremely Helpful! Thank you so much!
