I'm glad to hear that they all act like grown ups even under these circumstances. With this they're way more mature than most of the other bands. The next year and their way of handeling this sensitive situation will show, when there'll be their next time on stage together (I declined the "if" here, because the simple posibility of them not getting together again shatters my heart).

Excellent interview. Makes me able to swallow this a lot easier. Still weird for them to call it Dream Theater without Mike involved. Would've been his right (maybe not within his power) to veto their decision, and I think it shows what a gentleman at heart he is that he didn't exercise that right. This interview's all that needs to be said on the subject from his camp as far as I'm concerned, and he'd do well not to lower himself to the level of hot blooded, unsympathetic types on the internet.

Yea no more hating on portnoy...like he said...for once hes got to do something for himself...after all the endless hours of mind blowing experience he has offered me...he certainly deserves it.
