Eugene Saturday Market Drumming

Just had to shoot the drumming that happens every weekend at the Eugene Saturday Market. It draws young and old, homeless and well off. One day while downtown an old man stopped his car and asked me where the Saturday Market was - I pointed and told him to just follow the sound of the drumming. He blanched and his face filled with fear. I laughed for about an hour after that.

For further clarification, I believe Nahulanham, in addition to wearing a white hat, is wearing blue shorts and a black shirt. I've never heard a drum circle before viewing the video, and it is pretty neat! Reminiscent of the Caribbean rhythms we hear in Miami. I'm surprised it sounds so coordinated, despite the many people participating.
