Yeah, I think gbanks is reacting to the brass triplets in Adam 12, which also feature heavily in Williams' first LIS theme.

@gbanks70, John Williams composed the 'Lost in Space' theme(s). Frank Comstock did the 'Adam 12' theme. :)

Adam 12 theme must have been written by the same guy that wrote the "Lost in Space " theme. Never noticed before.
