So, Lt. General Douglas Lute is trying to hinder the war effort by considering the draft? That may be the single dumbest comment I've ever seen posted on youtube.

Talk of draft is political propaganda designed to hurt the war effort in Iraq.Congress voted for the war not just Bush.

I live in Fred's 6th Michigan District. He's mainly in to communications and environment issues. The rest of the time he votes with the Republican party. It's a safe way to retain his Whirlpool supporters. I'm sure he'll bend if he thinks his constituents (i.e. employers) want him to vote another way.

The only elected officials calling for a draft are DEMOCRATS -- in particular John Murtha.

If we vote for a draft will the youth of this country finally pay attention?
