  • she makes me cry sometimes. Idina really does give it her all. She was truly the best Elphaba! ^^ I just want to glomp her haha!

  • Actually, the gasps are a sign of very good vocal technique. A clavicular breath will tilt the cricoid cartilage and lift the larynx in preparation for belt - Very healthy. Most people mistake it for Asthma, bad technique or Acting *Shudder*. Idina knows what shes doing, give her some credit. It may be a main rule of singing in your amateur production or church choir, but if you want to belt properly you have to be healthy. :)

  • @biggestchenofan when I heard she was 5'4 I was all excited yay I'm 1 inch taller than her!!! And it's ironic cuz kristin is like 4'11 right and at a. School performance of for good, I'm taller than idina by one inch and I sang elphie, and my bff is like 5'0 and a half and she sang glinda it was so cool, but we were sitting on prop chairs while we sang, so u couldn't tell

  • Who couldn't love Idina?? She is by far the GREATEST Elphaba that will ever apear on broadway!!! She should totaly come back to being Elphaba!!! She still has the feel of her and the voice and everything!!! Love her to death!!!!

  • she is so so so amazing!!!!

  • Could there be a better Elphaba? Even if she's not one officially anymore.

  • @harpsong93 I know how you feel I'm only 4'11''

  • Whoa! She is really skinny in this video! I wish I had her figure! (Partially because she is taller than 5'0" :P)
