@rednexrc no actually you couldn't a syma s107 is 3 ch heli this blade is a 4 ch heli
Btw a syma s107 is half as small and can't fly outdoors like the blade CX

i could outfly that thing with my syma s107

Thanks! It's been a while since I've taken it up though. I've been having fun with my T-Rex 250 & 500!

hello. i bought v-tail mixer, gyro, 2 speed controller, 2 c10 motors to upgrade my blade cx3 to brushless. but i could not set is up on my dx6i. can you make small tutorial or something that can help someone to set up their brushless blade cx3.
thanks

@mytdbm It's been so long since I've setup my Blade CX and I don't have a dx6i, but I would checkout the RCGroups link in my description. I know it links to a pic of my Brushless Blade CX in the RCGroups thread, but if you click on the "I'm Finished with my Brushless BladeCX" link over on the top left it will start you off in about the middle of the thread where most of the discussion on radio mixing is. You might also want to do a search in that thread for dx6i. I hope that helps.

@rickgode i have tried to use v-tail mixer, but i failed to set up. (I still did not understand why i need to use v-tail mixer). so i set up my cx3 using your plan (without v-tail mixer). it seems work. but why did you use 3S battery? why i asked this is it worked with stock 2S battery for me. if i use 3S, what would be different. by the way i could not find the link "I'am finished with my Brishless BladeCX" :)

@mytdbm If memory serves me correctly, the reason you use a v-tail mixer is to get the gyro to control both the top and bottom rotor. So that one speeds up a bit and the other slows down. I never could get my gyro or esc to initialize with a v-tail mixer so my gyro only controls the top rotor. Because of this I needed more power than the 2S battery would give me to keep flying. The top rotor couldn't spin fast enough a few minutes into the flight. Using a 3S pack, it worked perfectly.

@mytdbm If you click the link in the description it just goes to rcgroups and shows a pic of my bladeCX. Above that pic over to the left are links to the main thread and my post. If you click on the link that says, "I'm Finished with my Brushless BladeCX!" it will take you to the middle of the thread where most of this was discussed. I'm glad you seem to have it working!

sweet! I didn't know they made brushless systems for these. do u get longer runtime? and is it easier to fly outside on a breezy day? I don't like to fly inside cause I'm more likely to crash it. oh and my cx likes to spin counter clockwise, I have it trimmed as far as it can go but I still have to hold the stick to keep it from spinning. any ideas? sry if I ask too many questions. u just seem like an experienced pilot. :)

@theoriginalJASONXYZ They really don't make brushless systems, and yes I get a longer runtime. Maybe now you can get a kit, but I had to buy two separate speed controllers, a new gyro, and two brushless motors. My upgrade was really expensive.
As far as your CX spinning I seem to remember there being a little 'pot' or tiny setscrew in the receiver somewhere that you can turn to give more power to a different motor. The other 'pot' determines the gyro sensitivity.
