What kind of Amazon is she? Mine we adopted a couple of months ago is ten years old, and only says a few little phrases...and also bites. The longer we have had her, the more vocal she gets - but I hope the biting eventually stops...

I keep the radio on although it is at a much lower volume, for most of the day. I do turn it off at night and I tell them, "Good Night, I love You" Birds love a routine.

It may be handy if you have parrots. It depends on how you relate to your parrots. I love my birds and altho love is not an action verb(you stated on your youtube channel that action verbs show no action), sometimes there is emotion behind a word, words or yes, even verbs. You are entitled to your opinion and I appreciate your comments and thank you for taking the time to post on "Just Chattin, 2009"
