A lot of amazing musicians came together for two weeks at Magic Mountain Music Farm in Morris, New York and discovered that they all shared a passion for singing Disney music at all times of day. We also went on an epic hike on our day off that involved walking several miles down a stream (sometimes barefoot) and ending up at a swimming hole. We studied with the amazing teacher Burton Kaplan (some clips of him in this video).

Yes. GO. It's the most amazing and unique experience you will have. A lesson every other day, two workshops (aka masterclasses) a day, great accomodations and food. Burton is such a unique teacher and it's very worth studying with him. Professional musicians come to prepare auditions, so you also get the experience of getting to know them and how people are making it in the real world.

To those who have gone on this retreat- was it worth it considering how expensive it is? Have you held on to what you learned since then? I'm currently a high school senior considering going on this to have a great foundation for my undergrad music major experience this coming fall
Would you recommend it? What was the biggest thing you learned on it?

Hey!! My dad showed me the video you guys made of him and the others! I luv it! So this was what happened while you guys were on the hike. It was funny when my family saw you on the road while we were heading back from lunch.
